I am Alexandre Ederer, known in the cryptocurrency space as the Verge Ninja. I’ve worked alongside the Verge team to expand communications, public perception, and marketing during the last four years. As a globally decentralized project with only volunteers, it is one of the most exciting and continuously challenging activity in my life; and I would know challenges. As a Québecois (French Canadian) living in Germany, learning German is Einfach compared to working with global volunteers.
I’ve moved to Germany to study international business management; during this time, I have volunteered with Verge, a global crypto-project, a volunteer community behind a currency. There I have tested and refined my knowledge; there is no better way to learn than to field test what you know. I have also made bridges with many good blockchain projects. My leadership resides in my ability to build bridges and friendships with people from all walks of life.
Enter Note Blockchain. My good friend Ezca, introduced me to Note a few years ago, and I saw in it massive potential. The Note Android, and iOS app, although not polished, show an early concept of a social media powered by blockchain that allowed people to retain control over their data privacy but still interact with the netizens.
In 2021, I received word from Ethan, the Note founder, that he could not continue fielding the project due to personal challenges outside the Note ecosystem. As a result, I will be taking over effective January 15th.
Under my direction, the goal will be to rebuild Note into a web 3.0 social media platform. As a result, we will migrate from the existing app to a decentralized model; your device is your wallet, no longer depending on third-party servers.
I won’t lie and say that everything will stay the same; at its height, Note had close to 40 000 users, and now only the faithful OG’s remain. Why? Because development stalled.
Working with an experienced team in Canada, we determined it would cost roughly 34 000 USD to bring similar functionality as the mobile apps to a web platform. So raising this money and finding in-house developers will be my first order of business.
Helping me in my mission is community member Stefan and EXO (Ramesh)
What is Note Currently:
Think of Note right now as Snapchat meets Twitter, meets Instagram.
I want to maintain these functions but give users a way to monetize their content creation while retaining control over their information. Think Brave Browser ad-rewards but for social media.
First order of action:
Note Coin Burn
In the rich list, you can see that the Note Project holds a majority of total issued coins; the first thing I will do is do a coin burn. The founder’s wallet will keep only 550 million coins, or 1% of the total supply.
We will not reissue the other burned coins right away.
After this coin burn, we will be looking to migrate Note into a token on the Kadena Chain. Where we will look at reinstating the 55 billion supply, or modifying the tokenomics, in which case we will keep to the allocated 1%.
Why Kadena ($KDA)
Kadena is one of the so-called Ethereum Killer chains that came out this year. There are multiple reasons why I believe a token on the Kadena chain is the best option.
With the gas station feature of Kadena, we can move tokens with no fees. This feature would allow us to maintain free tipping without centralized servers. By building on Kadena, we work in the spirit of decentralization. We will be able to use its smart-contract capabilities for NFT’s, list the Token on different DEX’s, and enjoy the security of a modern chain with one of the most proven blockchain teams out there.
To find out more about Kadena, I’ve included an article from Coin Bureau, as well as the website.

Second-order of action:
Once we have gathered the necessary funding, we will build a web platform maintaining most of the existing Note Functionality, with some extra functionalities that will allow users to monetize their social media activities.
Upon the release of the Web platform, Note Coins will be swapped for a 1:1 ratio to the new KDA-built Token. The new web platform will maintain most of the application’s functionalities. However, at this time, the mobile applications will be disabled until we can rebuild them, continuing in the Web 3.0 spirit of decentralization.
Once the web and mobile platforms are released, we will look at a timeline for releasing following functionalities:
a) minting NFT’s directly from your web/mobile app
b) Showcasing NFT’s
c) Pay-per-View content
d) Pay-per-Sub for followers
e) Monetization of the re-share features.

I am honored to have been chosen for this role, and I believe that I will be able to satisfy your expectations. As a social media user who enjoys its benefits and values user data privacy, I genuinely think we can make Note the best way for users to interact. While maintaining a fun, community feel and preventing giant corporations from monetizing your data. My goal will be to give users the ability to monetize themselves. I believe by doing this; Note can Finance itself from user activities. Stay tuned for more!
Next week Monday, I will host a Spaces on Twitter to discuss what we need and what we can do. So make sure to follow @NoteBlockchain on Twitter.
